Electronic Dog Door Installation
Tired of having to let your dog out at inconvenient times? Tired of the pet messes in the house because no one was home to let them out? Do you wish your pet could let themselves out and remember to lock the door when they come back in?
Now you and your pet can have more freedom and security with the Power Pet Door from High Tech Pet! Installed in the wall or in a door, the Power Pet door opens automatically when it picks up a signal from a small device that your pet wears on a small collar.
The door only opens when your pet approaches the door and closes only once the device on the collar is no longer in range. When the door closes it locks keeping unwanted animals or people from entering your home. The door can be plugged into the wall or has the option to run on rechargeable batteries that can be conveniently swapped when charging is required. The door comes in two sizes – one for small pets and one for larger pets.

Cabinet Spraying and more
Replacing cabinets can be expensive, but making existing cabinets look new again doesn’t have to be. Most cabinets – if done correctly – can be painted to look better than they have in years. As long as they are not beat up or made of fake wood, a fresh coat of paint can be the answer to making your kitchen shine again. Much care must be taken when spraying cabinetry. Cleaning, caulking, repairing, and using the proper primers are all extremely important in preparing cabinets to be sprayed. We take great care in prepping cabinetry to make sure that your cabinets not only look great but also stay that way for years to come.
One of the best ways to keep your cabinets looking new and to give them that extra added touch is to add pulls or handles. One of the biggest culprits of premature wear of cabinetry is lack of pulls and handles. Oils and dirt from your hands can be very hard on the finish. Fingernails can also cause scratches and even chips. Pulls and handles take the abuse much better than cabinet finishes and can keep fingernails off of the cabinet surfaces. We can drill and install the pulls or handles of your choice and even replace old hinges in most cases. When your cabinets are finished we replace the vinyl bumpers and make adjustments to cabinet doors if adjustable hinges are present.
In addition to cabinets, we also spray doors, and loose trim. For many, the options for painting doors and trim are brushing or rolling. Both are time consuming and do not leave a smooth finish that only a sprayer can give. Spraying items off site keeps the mess and smell out of your home – which is important for many people who are sensitive to certain chemical smells! We take all the hassle out of freshening up the woodwork in your home. We will come pick everything up, paint with the color of your choosing, and come put it all back looking great! Tile & Laminate Flooring
If you need new flooring we have options that incorporate beauty and durability into any room in your home. We offer both tile and laminate plank installation. We like these floors because we know that we can stand behind the products. Unlike hardwood flooring, tile and laminates are much less prone to premature wear and damage by water. It only takes one water pipe to break to ruin a hardwood floor, and hardwoods usually need refinishing every 6 – 7 years anyway. Sheet linoleum is soft and can easily be torn by heavy appliances. It is also often glued to particle board underlayment which will also fail in a water accident if water gets behind baseboards. We waterproof all the floors that we install in wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, etc.) so in the unfortunate event of a large water spill you can rest at ease knowing that your flooring will remain intact! In addition, we provide an option to eliminate those unsightly metal heat registers. The new registers will blend into your new floor and you can step on them in your bare feet with no discomfort!

- Paint application – The most common mistake a paint crew will make is not applying a thick enough coating. Some crews don’t know how to apply the paint thick enough and some just skimp to increase their profit margin. A lot of the thin coatings that we have seen are up high where most homeowners can’t inspect the work without a tall ladder. Every house we paint gets two thick coats on every surface!
- Caulking – Caulking is very critical, not only for paint longevity, but also to keep water from getting behind the siding and trim and causing rot issues. Almost every home we paint has some form of caulking failure. Caulking, like paint, must be thick to be able to stretch with the expansion and contraction of the building materials. We only use the best exterior caulking and apply thick beads to replace old cracked ones

- Prep – prep is the most crucial aspect of painting. For example, walls over time can be damaged and often many holes are present. If not repaired properly that damage can become more obvious than it was before the repair was attempted. Corners and areas where trim meets the wall must also be properly prepped to ensure crisp, straight paint lines with no paint bleed through. Woodwork must be prepped as well to ensure proper adhesion – which is the most common problem with woodwork painting.
