Why Choose Pro Cut as YOUR General Contractor?

Pro Cut is a quality-focused, family owned business based out of Vancouver Washington.  Pro Cut offers over 24 years of experience among various trades.

Pro Cut started as a crew of one operating as a subcontractor for a Portland based remodeling contractor. As a company we have chosen to remain small so that our quality will never be compromised.

Happy Customers!

I had a pretty serious leak above my kitchen window. Over the course of several months I had several contractors come out to fix the problem. Some said they repaired the caulking and others told me they repaired the roof, but none of them fixed the problem, and they still charged me for it! Pro Cut was very straightforward with me. They explained that sometimes the only way to see where water is getting in is to remove siding. They also said that it is important to examine under the siding to make sure that the leak has not caused any rot. They found that the leak went as high as the second story window and showed me every step that they were taking to ensure that the leak would not appear again.  They were able to put back my existing siding and only had to do a small amount of paint touch-up which saved me a lot of money! The repair was done so well you would never know that they ripped off half the siding on that side of the house! I am so thankful that the leak is finally gone.

I am a real estate investor and I have multiple rental properties. I have used Pro Cut for years because they can do just about anything. They can fix almost everything my renters break, but also provide me with ideas on how to make my properties more durable so that repairs are not needed as frequently. They have installed appliances, painted walls and cabinets, remodeled bathrooms, and even solved a mysterious dishwasher smell issue for me that no one else could!  They are always available to help, even for small jobs. They make my job as a rental owner much easier.

I own a beautiful 10 year old home in the country that had started looking more like a 30 year old home as of late due to a failing exterior paint job.  I attempted to paint myself, but my house is very tall and I simply didn’t have the time, so I didn’t get far.  I called Pro Cut to come take a look and liked what I heard so I hired them to do the repaint. The job did not go as expected but it had nothing to do with Pro Cut. They found rotting boards in multiple spots much to my dismay, but they were able to fix those as well as find out why my house was looking so bad at such a young age. They informed me that the house was never really painted properly to begin with.  They took many photos of where you could see through the original paint job, where paint was never applied, and where paint was watered down to cut material cost.  They photo documented every spot that had an issue and offered to go with me to confront the builder to recoup some of my extra costs. I had no idea how bad my paint was because everything looked good at eye level. My house looks great now and I am grateful for a contractor that did not cut corners and was willing to go to bat for me.
